P4E.184 Clouds

This last week has been one of unusual weather for us in Southern California. Some amazing cloud formations have presented themselves. I was walking at a ranch in Temecula and the sky was just remarkable. I took some pictures and really felt God-inspired along these lines:

Look up!
Don't let your eyes be downcast.
Look up and see the majesty of The Creator and His Creation.
Yes, you are but a vapor in time.
So are these clouds, yet look at how they reflect the Light of His Glory.
Move.
Change.
Grow.
Inspire.
Reflect Him.

Peace, Kim

  1. Your words make me realize how much I take for granted the ever-shifting palate upon which the good Lord paints here in my midwestern home. The clouds are amazing.

Kathleen, it's so important for us not to take things (especially God) for granted isn't it?

  6. Kim,
First of all, WOW! Amazing pictures. I can't get over how different yet beautiful all the shots are. The 9th one down is my favorite.

Also, We Barbarians have a GREAT sound! I am so glad you stopped back and gave the link to YouTube because when I googled them, I couldn't find the song. I checked out some of their tour dates and cities, and they are in Denver on 10/11. My sister is a music junkie and lives there so I told her to go check them out.

So glad you shared about your son!

  8. These photos are just gorgeous, Kim. I don't know about you, but something happens inside my spirit when I look up. And watching the clouds...a favorite pastime. We've had some crazy weather here in West Virginia lately too. Two days ago I drove through the worst hailstorm I've ever experienced. And it's been very windy. But you've inspired me to get outside and look up. Thanks for that. I'm so glad you linked up to Playdates and shared this with me today.
